There’s a First Time for Everything…

On May 24, 2012, I came to New York City for the first time in my life. At first, I was very overwhelmed and unsure of how much I liked the city. I even had massive day-long headaches from what I assume was culture shock. After a week and a half, however, I am in love! After getting used to the subway system and crowded streets, I feel much more comfortable in the city and my headaches ceased. I finally don’t have to use my cell phone to get anywhere I want to go. And I’m having a blast. One of my favorite things so far was eating my first crepe ever. One word: YUM. ImageIt was a nutella banana crepe with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. 🙂

Another adventure that I really enjoyed was going to the Mets game. I am a huge baseball fan, so seeing Citi Field for the first time – and being in a stadium besides Busch – was really cool. Image

I can’t wait for more adventures through the entire city!
