My girlfriend visited me couple of weeks ago. Because of guest stay restriction, she had to move out and stayed in hotel for two nights, fortunately, she got invited to her friend’s apartment in Jersey City. So beside work, i spent most time in Jersey City. If i back to the New York City and get a job someday, Jersey City will be my first choice of living. Comparing with Manhattan, it is cheaper to live in there. And also, streets are cleaner, life is slower. If you want to see skyline of NYC, Jersey City is the place you should consider, Exchange Place is a must go spot for sunset, it is only one stop from the WTC on the PATH train. and after leaving the station you turn towards the river and there you are, it is a unobstructed view.
I heard Liberty State Park has fabulous view of NYC, and it also has the Ferry go to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I definitely will go before program ends.
